50 Years Of Mixing Batter
Schlabach's Bakery first began making delicious doughnuts and fresh bread back in 1970. From there it quickly expanded to earn a spot in the hearts of locals and visitors. Over 50 years later, not much has changed — we’re still a family-owned bakery, baking traditional Amish Favorites with simple ingredients and a lot of love.

Our breads, sweet rolls, and fried pies are baked fresh every day, and every Saturday morning there are fresh donuts - while they last!

Since then, this country bakery has become a well known and visited spot for the people of Guthrie, Kentucky and tourists alike. Schlabach's Bakery continues serving families classic Amish Favorites and homemade goodness in every bite!

This bakery is THE BEST. All of their goods are great. We especially love their Fried Pies, with apple and peach being our favorites. They make all their goods from scratch with great quality ingredients. In addition, we've enjoyed their Cinnamon Rolls, Brownies, Oatmeal Cream Pies, Choco pies, Lemon bars, Sourdough Bread and the 100% pure honey.
